The 4TH UNIVERSITY SCHOLARS LEADERSHIP SYMPOSIUM
1-7 AUGUST 2013 MANILA, PHILIPPINES
Humanitarian Affairs United Kingdom, a London-based non-profit, non-government organisation, will host the 4th University Scholars Leadership Symposium in Manila, Philippines from August 1 to 7, 2013. The Symposium is supported by the United Nations Department of Economic and Social Affairs, the United Nations Office for the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs, and the Philippines Commission of Higher Education.
This annual event will see a culmination of 1,000 young individuals from leading Universities and NGOs worldwide to discuss key humanitarian issues. This event will provide leadership development and motivational training to further cultivate the youth to reach their full potential. It will also provide the youth with opportunities to engage in humanitarian service, strengthen their understanding of diverse cultures, network with like-minded leaders from all over the world who share the same passion, and empower them to become outstanding global citizens dedicated to service leadership.
This Leadership Program in Social Change, themed as, “Share Moments. Share Life,” will have 12 World-Renowned Humanitarians and Motivational Speakers. Other program highlights will include networking sessions, grant-giving opportunities in partnership with UNESCO, dialogues with the guest speakers, and delegates will also be given a chance to contribute to sustainable programs for the marginalized communities in the Philippines through the Learning Journey. The Learning Journey is in collaboration with World Vision Philippines, Habitat for Humanity and other international non-governmental organizations (NGOs).

He will be presenting ‘Together, We Are the Change’ at the 4th University Scholars Leadership Symposium – A Leadership Programme in Social Change (1-7 August 2013 – Manila, Philippines).
The symposium is supported by United Nations DESA & is in collaboration with World Vision Philippines, Habitat for Humanity, Save the Children and various International Organizations.
