Apne Kapurthale da munda – Gaganjeet Bhullar, 21, is the youngest Indian player to win on Asian Tour. The previous record holders were Jeev Milkha Singh and Shiv Kapur who had won the title when they were 23.
It has been reported that Gaganjeet started his preparation for the Indonesia Open without his golf set because of a delay in the set reaching Jakarta from Glasgow. Gaganjeet practiced with a club member’s set that had ‘regular shafts’ “akin to a golfing pro playing with one hand tied” 1
Gaganjeet has proved, once again, that for winners it is resourcefulness that matters more than resources. Way to go champ! You deserve to be the next world champion, after all that’s what your name says – gagan- jeet!
